What to Keep in Mind
To learn from our mistakes and do things better this time, these rules exist. They are not yet perfect and will be expanded over time. If there is a rule that is too vague or missing, it is recommended to open a post in the support section on Discord.
Scope of Responsibility
The following rules apply to the entire GamingLounge Network. This includes the Discord server and all other services related to the GamingLounge.me network.
General Behavior
Players are responsible for their own behavior. General behavioral guidelines apply, such as respectful behavior, no serious insults, no racism, no spam, adherence to channel topics, etc.
It should be obvious: DDoS attacks or other attacks on the server are prohibited and will have consequences.
NSFW content is only allowed in channels specifically designated for it.
No use of voice changers or soundboards (Discord's own soundboard excluded).
Advertising
Advertising is not allowed (including via DM). If someone plans to advertise, they can ask the team for permission on Discord.
Streaming
Rights to your own voice in streams on Twitch or YouTube are forfeited.
Handling Rule Violations
An incident deemed by the team as a violation in conflict with the rules may result in punishment such as a mute or ban. The team reserves the right to decide this themselves. More info on Discord.
The team itself may ban a player if they act against the general peace of the server.
The rules apply according to the team's interpretation, not the player's. Instructions from the team must be followed.
